Howdy! You know, it's a funny story about how I came to find your journal. I was going to post a fIREHOSE lyric as a comment to someone's LJ post, and I wanted to check to be sure if I had it right. It's the one off the Flyin' the Flannel album -- "If a wall seems like a door, attach new hinges to it so you can use it." So I searched the web for it, and the only thing that showed up was your journal.

So, that may alert you to something that you didn't want to know -- that Google indexes LiveJournals, but still, kinda cool, huh?

hmm... I had actually noticed that about Google, too. But thanks... still, it's good to be a fIREHOSE resource. I hope I quoted it correctly ;-)

I started out only making a half-hearted attempt at making my journal private/secret... I didn't tell anyone irl but I used a name (julesfacks) that while not my real name (neither is Joey Ramone ;-)) is one that lots of people would immediately recognize as mine. there's been a lot of posting about privacy issues in my friends' journals recently..
