I had one of those weird back-in-high-school dreams. Or, as [livejournal.com profile] albert71292 would say, "dreams." Anyway, I had this really hard-ass dude for English, and he gave us this really hard-ass exam. I hadn't read any of the material, but somehow I was able to squeak a 75 out of it. It was embarrassing, though -- by all my wrong answers and half-baked interpretations he had written stuff like, "No!!! What are you THINKING?" And plus, many of my classmates had totally dominated me. I remember thinking, "Geez, I got along a lot better not reading the books when I was in graduate school!"

Aren't "dreams" wondermous.

I used to dream all the time that my teachers were trying to get in my pants. That is a disturbing repetitive pattern for you.

Having any strange upper level consultations with your superego?

Haha, not that I'm aware of... I don't even know where this guy came from. He wasn't anyone who actually taught in my high school. He looked kind of like the cop in Die Hard. Maybe it's one of my deep-seated desires to be berated by a hard-ass, bald dude...

Bwahahahaha... see my "Ebb" comment.

Must come from the same place as those dreams I have that I am naked in public, or have to perform on stage and have not prepared anything so I have to improvise.

Ten times worse to dream I have to improvise in the nude.

I had a "dream" that I wrote a Calculus exam and I rocked the differentiating world so hardcore that I got like 99.74%. Too bad that shit never happens.

I'm going to go "study" so I don't become a "failure".

Everytime you talk about [livejournal.com profile] albert71292 I can't stop myself from "laughing".

It sucks when that happens. A lot of English is interpretation. When you're taking an english course, it's not about learning your subject, it's about learning your teacher.

Gotta "love" Albert. :)

And yeah, It's too bad, but's that's right about a lot of English teachers. I remember being in this one guy's class and thinking it was going to be IMPOSSIBLE until I realized that all I had to do was speak his language -- just talk a bunch of shit about hermeneutics and semiotics and get an A. I ended up taking that dude for three classes!

HAHAHA! That's sad though, isn't it? The only education you really get is learning how to work the bullshit.

I think I'm going to have to add "Albert" to my list of friends. HAHA!
