break on through
Jul. 16th, 2002 02:57 pmLiving here in Connecticutnewhavenburgland, I've grown unaccustomed to seeing farm animals. I was driving through a relatively rural area near Bethany a few weeks ago and was utterly shocked when I saw a cow; I hadn't seen one since crossing the Mason-Dixon a few months earlier. So you can imagine my surprise when I was driving through town yesterday and had to stop while three turkeys crossed the road.
Misspelling of the day (from someone wanting us to publish his manuscript): "pastural." It actually sort of makes sense when you think about it. Reminds me of Linus talking about cows milling about in the grassture. See, cows! It all ties together, I tell you -- it's all one song.
