Yeah, me neither 'til the other day. I just happened to check pollstar.com for concerts in the area, and lo and behold, there they were.
I was quite impressed -- they put on an excellent show. And that Ripper Owens dude fills in very well for Rob Halford, even if he does look a lot like Fred Durst. A well spent evening.
I couldn't believe that cover band tonight, though -- they actually nailed "Wasted Years"! The guitarist (who looked like he should have been checking someone's oil) was playing part of the solo one-handed, flashing devil signs with the other, and never missing a note! It was kind of heart-warming. :)
