wickedfleaThat three pounds of barbecue from Sonny's was the best thing I brought home from my trip south back in July/August--even better than all those relatively low-priced cigarettes. I froze the BBQ, and I'm still eating on it. When it runs out, I will weep like a schoolchild. I'm gonna get five or six pounds when I go back at Christmas.
I respect vegetarians and vegans, but there's just no way I could ever make that choice. I think about it for a few seconds every now and then, but it doesn't take long for something like Sonny's pulled pork (shaddup,
dp) to drive out all such thoughts.
I think of those old barbecue dudes like Sonny and the guy from Dreamland as Gurus or Shamen or Cool Guys Like That. They know something really good that very few people do. And it's individual; Sonny's sauce is totally different from Dreamland's, but they will both make you throb.
Speaking of throbbing, I just got a spam asking me if I want my "PENIS to be HARD as a ROCK all the time." Hell no, I don't want it to be hard as a rock all the time. I remember what it was like to be sixteen.
I just got a call from the MSU Alumni Association. I straight hung up on the fool. God, I hate that. At least let me be out of school for a few years so I can make a few bucks before you start harassing me for money. I get enough of that from those student loan bastards.
Labor Day weekend should have been this weekend. It's seriously beautiful outside today.
I'm not much of a tennis fan, but this Agassi/Sampras U.S. Open final is pretty cool.
I feel like Larry King here. "For my money, Tony Bennett is the finest crooner the world has ever known. . . . I expect typewriters to make a comeback any day now. . . . The tomato is actually a fruit. . . ."
