Noodle nostalgia

Since my mouth's still a bit sore from the wisdom teeth surgery, I'm still eating mostly soft foods... Tonight I'm reduced to Raman noodles. I haven't eaten these bastards for at least five years. Makes me think of the days when I was broke as hell -- well, I'm still broke as hell, but not like I was... now that I've excised the four cases of beer a week from my diet. :) I can hear one of my late-night phone conversations with a homie now:

--Hey, man, I got a case of Natural Light... you want to come over and watch River's Edge?
--Yeah, cool -- I'll bring some Raman Noodles...
