Gold stars to [livejournal.com profile] fanbelt, [livejournal.com profile] deadflowers, and [livejournal.com profile] arielmeadow. Mom and Pop gave me the middle name Blake after Blake Smith. Interesting article behind that link; I never knew anything about him other than that Dad went to his church while he was in school at UT and thought a lot of him.

i knew it.
i could sense the jitteriness of others as they awaited the results- but i was cool as a cucumber because i just knew i was right.
after all, it was the middle choice.

Beauregard T. Swank

It was dumb luck, but I'll take my gold stars where I can get them.

As for my middle name (Meadow) it's my place of conception. And that's not a joke, although I'm still laughing.

That's a grand thing. I was named after an elderly lady in my dad's first church in Hollywood, sort of a patroness of the church; her name was Ruth Carolyn, though, and I think my parents gave the nod to the Kennedys by naming me Caroline instead.

Nice name. I just picked Benjamin because I've always wanted to name my boy that if I had one.
