Would you be willing to draw an illustration of me getting Stevie Nicks in "the dog"? I've had a huge crush on Ms. Nicks since her debut album with Lindsay Buckingham. (Have you SEEN that album cover?! It makes me throb.) Anyway, since I have no chance at this Faerie Queene in real life, I'm hoping that you'll seriously consider this request. Obviously I don't have a picture that you can draw from, but I figure I can send you a lovely Polaroid of myself and a few bucks for you to pick up a Hustler with. It just blows my mind--the one with the popsicle, the "Gemini" twin Stevies one, the pancake syrup and peaches one--and what the hell is going on in the TATTOO one? How is this guy not getting his ass sued off?

So do you think I should email the porno Stevie guy and ask him how much he'd charge to do the beautiful portrait? The thing is, he would probably say yes, and then I would be bound by my strict moral code to go through with it. But I've exhausted my 2002/2003 celebrity porn budget (you know, from that beautiful velvet painting of Chuck Berry getting his groove on that I scored on Ebay), so I'll never be able to afford this guy. What do you think he charges? A buck? Buck fifty? A six-pack of PBR and two smacks across the fuckin' mouth? All too rich for my blood. So I might have to call on you fine folks to throw in a few bucks if you're willing and able. Come on, people--this is all for the sake of ART. The other thing is that I'm not sure what photo to send him to use for my fictional homeboy Eddie "The Rockin' Jailbird" Sanchez's likeness. Now, of course I'm not going to send him a picture of myself--I'm not that damn crazy. But I can't decide whether to use the picture that I sent Vlad and told him it was me, or a picture that's more in line with what Eddie is supposed to look like. I'm thinking about sending him . . . well, OK, here's the deal. You remember the part in Ferris Bueller's Day Off when the two guys at the garage take Cameron's dad's Ferrari for a joy ride? You know, it cuts from Ferris telling Cameron that the car is OK to a slow-mo shot of the two guys with their mouths wide open as the car flies through the air? OK, the guy driving is Eddie Sanchez. He's not REALLY Eddie Sanchez, of course, but we always said it was. So I'm thinking about sending him a still of that shot that I was just talking about. The dude has the most wonderfully ecstatic look on his face, and it would work perfectly for this project, but I'm worried that the Stevie pornographer might recognize it. Oh, here it is! I'd have to get a better version, of course.



Wow, I just looked him up and found this picture. You recognize him now, right? He's been in a bunch of movies. And according to imdb.com he was the original drummer for Sonic Youth!!!
