I'm driving down Chapel St. on the way home. I pull up to the red light next to a K-Car with three people in it. They seem to be having some sort of revival, as joyous gospel music is blaring and they're waving their arms at me. I kind of smile and give them the thumbs up. The light turns green, we drive along together, and they're still dancing and laffing at me. At the next light, I hook my mp3 player up to the transmitter and scan for a good song to put on. I find Soundgarden's "Jesus Christ Pose" and put it on full blast. I flash the metal horns \m/ at them and drive on. My lane moves a little more quickly than theirs, so I lose them for the next block or so--but the next thing I know, I'm next to them again and OMFG TWO LADIES ARE FLIPPING ME OFF WITH BOTH HANDS. I bury my hands in my face and start laffing so hard I'm nearly CRYING, and THEY FLIP ME OFF EVEN HARDER LIKE THEY REALLY FUCKING MEAN IT.
I am far too metal for this town.
