Anna Nicole's Body to Move to Bahamas Early Friday Morning for Private Funeral, Burial

Smith will be buried in a custom-made gown next to her 20-year-old son Daniel following an "over the top" memorial service with a tightly controlled guest list, said a friend helping to organize the memorial.

The service, with about 300 guests at an undisclosed church, will feature large amounts of pink flowers, her favorite color, and singing from a well-known performer whose name organizers were not ready to disclose, said the friend, Patrik Simpson.

Due to continued threats of severe weather, The University of Alabama will close at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1. Essential personnel should contact their supervisors for further instructions.

Classes, work schedules and events at The University will resume as normal on Friday, March 2.

Also: a woman in front of me at the grocery store last night had a whole cart full of peanut butter–flavored Better than Ears dawg treats.
