He doesn't seem to mind them, really! When we had the last warnings, I was looking out and holding the storm door open, and the little bugger walked right out on the patio. I had to snatch his ass up before he went storm-chasing.
We've got a pretty safe place at work, but it's a freaking stairwell. I really hope the university closes before I'm forced to sit for hours in a stairwell with all my co-workers! Reportedly some of the area schools are already closed.
I used to love storms! When I was a kid, we had a small tornado hit Paris. No real damage (well, our house caught on fire due to some eletrical hires flying around all crazy like, but I barely remember it), but ever since I've been fascinated with storms.
But with all this natural disaster shit in the past few years...I'm kinda over it too. Like, UGH. There's somewhere in the nieghborhood of 12+ feet of snow in upstate (I think more, actually), massive tornados down south, massive blizzards in the plain states, and SF just had an earthquake (only a 3.4, but still).
