Oct. 23rd, 2002 06:21 pmI'll bet you couldn't guess in a hundred years what this is. Hint: if you're looking for a reason to become a vegetarian, check out this site.

Don't worry, I'll probably go through one of those spells when I only post about once a week soon.

meat hook manifesto
Date: 2002-10-23 03:59 pm (UTC)I don't know how he ran across it, but my friend emailed the link. Coincidentally, this is the same friend who was driving the car when I threateningly shook my meat hook at that woman. And strangely enough, it was the SAME friend with whom I came up with the philosophy that when the impending apocalypse comes, all a person will need to survive in the wilderness is a good meat hook.
Ah!

Date: 2002-10-23 04:19 pm (UTC)Hey, what do you want to bet that every single one of the guys who use these things for a living is nicknamed Bungholio?
Re:
Date: 2002-10-23 04:33 pm (UTC)I am Bungholio!! Shoot the piggypig in the bunghole!!
I had so much fun at my last job. Industrial equipment has the coolest names ever. It was especially fun when we installed a new homogenizer (homo) and had to do major repair on a leak from the back end. Oh yeah, I was engineer on the project and some of those inter-company emails were classic!!! I thought for sure one of the high-up suit guys was gonna fire my ass.

Re:
Date: 2002-10-24 05:44 pm (UTC)Would the unfortunate animal therefore be the "bungee"?
Date: 2002-10-25 07:24 am (UTC)My favourite thing about this Bung Dropper (other than the fact that it reminds me of Peter Sellers as GCpt. Mandrake in 'Dr. Strangelove' saying to Keenan Wynn, "Now see here, Corporal Batguano, if that is your real name...") is the encouraging statement "[e]asy to use, skilled labor is not required."
That's good - I'd hate to have to waste three or four years of my life in college to become a bungman. I WANT TO BUNG NOW!!!!
