phleuh... tired. Just got back from a whirlwind trip to New Orleans. I left here a little after 1 p.m yesterday, walked around the Quarter a bit, saw the Gov't Mule concert (which didn't start 'til almost 11 and lasted 'til after 2), and made it back home around 7 a.m. I'd have made it home quicker if it hadn't been for that bastard cop in south MS who gave me a ticket for 71 in a 50. I still have no idea why that was a 50 zone -- I certainly didn't notice it. Anyway, it's not like I was a screaming menace or anything -- I was the only person on the road at 5 a.m., but this podunk Barney feels the need to slow me down... In the immortal words of N.W.A., Fuck the Police.

garb. May write some more on the trip later. Right now I have to finish my last paper of the semester. You would not believe how badly I wish I didn't have to.

Nope, don't think I've ever been through Hazelhurst. This was somewhere north of Hattiesburg -- Wiggins, I think. I'll keep it in mind, though...

New Orleans was beautiful, by the way -- cool winds blowing, lots of cool people in town. I wish I could have been there for the whole Jazzfest, but maybe another year...
