I hate auto-complete for forms on IE. I screwed up and said "yes" the first time it asked me on this machine and now it remembers everything. Now if someone uses my computer and goes to Merriam-Webster they're going to see that I looked up "bifurcated." And THEN where will we be?

under tool, go to internet options.

under the content tab, hit the autocomplete button.

pick what you want it to remember, and clear the rest.
