Bazooka bubble gum is terrible. The flavor (which isn't that good to begin with) lasts for about three seconds, and the Bazooka Joe comic strip on the wrapper is never funny. I like Super Bubble. And I'm no Johnny-come-lately bubble-gum chewer. I got the award for best bubble in the outfield on my second-year T-ball team back in the late '70s, and I hadn't even developed my A-game at that point. Oh, shit, I almost forgot--I think my favorite bubble gum is actually Big League Chew. It rules because it comes in a pouch and you can grab as much as you want without having to unwrap individual pieces. And it tastes good. And it was invented by Jim Bouton, who wrote Ball Four, the best baseball book ever written. (It's like a nonfiction Catch-22.)

Dentyne makes bubble gum?! I liked Bazooka for the comics. They were so bad that I found them amusing. The gum was awful, though. It was like a chalky brick. I liked Big League Chew in grade school because I could pretend it was tobacco when I played baseball. :)
