I love the Yale li-berry. Except when I get lost in it, which happens a lot because I am directionally impaired.

Yeah, that's something I don't think I've ever mentioned here--my sense of direction is terrible. It's very easy for me to get turned around, and I have no idea about north and south and all that shit. I mean, yeah, I can read a map, and I know that Montana is west of Delaware, but when somebody says, "Oh, the museum? It's just north of here," or worse, "Mary's office is on the west side of the building," I have to smack that person, because I don't know north from south from east from west when it comes to that kind of thing.

And you know what? Nobody cares about the directionally impaired! Oprah doesn't give a fuck. NANCY REAGAN doesn't give a fuck. I called Dr. Laura about it and she told me to get lost. (She's a smart-ass, that one. I'm ALREADY lost--that's my problem, lady!) Certainly there are other people who share my plight; why aren't there governmental programs or at least self-help books? I think it's because The Man doesn't WANT me to know where the hell I'm going, because he knows if I figure out how to get where I need to go I'll bring him down like the bitch-ass punk he is.
