I think my head is going to explode sometime between now and next Friday--probably before Monday.

Yeah, it sort of is. I think the main thing is the anticipation of the freak week that is sure to happen NEXT week. (Strike starts then.) Normally you can't anticipate these things, but there's just no way possible that next week isn't going to be dangerously Weird.
