Mar. 3rd, 2003 10:57 amWell, I've been at work for an hour and a half and no one's bashed me over the head with a picket sign or threatened to break my kneecaps, so it's all good so far.
As I hoped (and suspected), there was no picket line anywhere near the press. I guess they're concentrating on more visible areas. And of eighteen C&Ts at the press, at least eight of us are here--and there are a couple of people I don't know about, so we could well have half the people here. And two people are probably coming back tomorrow. So, while I didn't make this decision based on what others are doing, it is good to know that I'm not alone.
Oh, the Rev. Jesse Jackson is going to lead a rally tonight. I think I'll skip that freakshow too.
