All right, folks, you gotta give me some idea of who's gonna win the men's NCAA basketball tournament. The Gonzaga Zags? The Oregon Ducks? The AKRON ZIPS? I would love to pick my beloved Mississippi State Bulldogs, but I would also love to win the office pool, and I don't see both of those things happening. So who's it going to be then, eh?

I'd be pretty happy if the winner of our pool turned out to be someone who actually works here. Last year's winner was someone's brother-in-law or something; no one here even knew who the hell he was. It's a pretty sad bunch of book nerds that can't even win its own basketball pool.

Do you think anyone would notice if I jumped out the window?

I think I'm going to try the mattress thing. I just have to figure out how to get the proper angle so that I don't bounce through someone's window on the way back up.
