I have found the people who must be the basis for those SNL skits with Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer where they play the husband and wife who do cheesy covers of pop songs. Behold Charlie and Elaine. I found them by searching for "jam box" and finding this article, which claims that "God is like my jam box."
