Apr. 15th, 2003 05:09 pmI wish someone would come out with a complete collection of Peanuts strips. I wonder how big that sucker would be. There are any number of Peanuts books, but a lot of them are probably out of print, and it would just be a nightmare trying to figure out which books covered which time periods. And you'd probably never be able to fill in all the gaps; I think some strips have never appeared in any books. And it would be really cool if the collection were indexed so you could look up, say, Petaluma or Jose Peterson or the April Fool and be able to find matching strips. Maybe they could even put it on CD-ROM and let you search for phrases that appear in the text of the strips. Wouldn't that be cool? I'd love to know how many times the word "blockhead" appeared in Peanuts.
I'm gonna have to start calling people blockheads. That's such a great thing to call someone. "You blockhead." What can you say to that?
Speaking of Peanuts, look at this. That's just about disgusting.
