I think the employer handled it wrong but had a "good" (?) reason:
have you ever seen the small amount of space between the wall and the grill at your standard mcdonalds? You can see it from the counter... Put a 420lb man there and theres not alot of room for alot else...
now....having said that....
The employer was wrong in the way they went about "firing" the guy. They wimped out, probably afraid of a lawsuit I'm assuming...They should have found him something else to do.
Yeah, I'm trying to picture what 420 pounds looks like. I worked w/ some pretty big folks back in my days at BK--but maybe not that big. Probably more on the order of 320. I think someone that big could probably manage. It wouldn't be much fun, but hell--it wouldn't be much fun anyway.
I know someone who is kickin in at 375. its horrible for them. She's having Gastric Bypass surgery next month. I feel bad for that guy at the McDonalds. People have different issues for being overweight, genetic or otherwise, but nobody should be discriminated against
