Crud. A three-day weekend and I couldn't get it together to do laundry. I think it's because I usually do it on Sunday, but Sunday wasn't Sunday, Monday was--except I can't do laundry on a Monday, 'cuz it's Monday! Got it? Yeah. So I have to go home and wash tonight because I don't have any clean clothes left. Or maybe I could wear my Jesus Lizard shirt tomorrow.

I wonder what ever happened to all my rock shirts that I had in high school. I had a ton of 'em. Let's see:

Anthrax -- Not Man
KISS -- Asylum
KISS -- Animalize
Slayer -- Root of All Evil
Metallica -- Metal Up Your Ass
Metallica -- Shortest Straw
Misfits -- Evil Never Dies
Misfits -- Die, Die My Darling
Ozzy Osbourne -- Your granny's favorite singer

I think that's about it. I wonder why I never had an Iron Maiden shirt. Or Judas Priest. Or Rigor Mortis. Worthy bands all.

If I remember right, My first concert was JP with Anthrax opening. It was them or Metallica.. I cant remember.. I do remember making my boyfriend at the time tie our beltloops together so that I didnt lose him, because I was scared because I had gotten "headbutted" by some moron outside the arena. How silly.

Yea. It was JP with Anthrax.

And I was here. Same place I am now. hmmmmmm.......

Yeah, musta been Anthrax--I don't remember Metallica ever opening for Priest.

Metal crowds are nuts. I actually saw Priest not long ago at a club in Hartford and could barely manage at the front. As if the guy in front of me throwing elbows wasn't bad enough, some woman behind me was holding onto me for dear life so she wouldn't fall. But I'm a gentleman--I didn't tell her to get lost. (Anyway, I was afraid to, because her big-ass husband (who I think actually was wearing a JP bandana) was right behind her; why they didn't work it out so she could hold onto HIM, I have no idea!)
