Whaaaat? Because I used a typewriter, or because I found it barbaric? Actually I was kind of digging it off and on, but those feelings kept getting interrupted when I would put on the caps lock and forget that it locks EVERYTHING, even the number keys! So I had to correct F)# (for F03, for Fall '03) on about 20 of the 25 labels I typed. :)
actually, i'm jealous of the tickity-tick action you got. only typewriters, real, honesttogoodness typewriters, have tickity-tick that good.
at my last place of gainful employment i would ask for things to do on the typewriter -- anything to sit there, hear that hum, and feel that *uNf* as the doohicky hit the page, leaving a smeary, beautiful letter.
