I scored the new Zeppelin DVD set a couple of days ago and am enjoying some of it now. It's fantastic--it blows The Song Remains the Same away so bad it's not even funny. TSRTS is pretty poor, really. But all four guys are ON in what I've seen so far. I wonder why this footage has stayed in the can for so long, and what else is out there. Seems wrong to just sit on that stuff.

I need that. They were interviewing John Paul Jones on my local classic rock station the day it was released and they were saying that they hunted down bootleggers for a lot of it. He said they found people with footage and bought it from them.
