ophelia427 and I discussed this a while back: people are naming their daughters Chasity. Not Chastity. Chasity. It freaks me out to know that people woud even name their daughters Chastity (go ahead and start making those therapy appointments for the kid now), but geez, at least spell it right.

Gah, Sonny and Cher named their daughter Chastity Bono.

At least they had enough sense to spell it right, but no wonder she's a lesbian and the author of FAMILY OUTING, a collection of coming-out stories.

My daughters name is Alyssa and her great-grandma always calls her Melissa..poor thing. She asked me how to spell it one day and I spelled it out A-L... She told me I was spelling it wrong (Melissa)

We just dont correct her anymore. My daughter just answers to whatever she's called. :)
