Jun. 24th, 2003 05:04 pmNo one ever answered my query about the movie with the line about the dog with an unusally high testosterone level. I think it was The Sure Thing. Anyone remember that? I only saw bits and pieces of it a couple of times many years ago.
Finally some pretty weather this week. 'bout time!
I went nuts yesterday and gave Mom this address to my journal. Will probably be doing a few more friends-only entries from here on out. Not that I write about much that she doesn't know about already, but even I don't want my mom knowing all my business. But it's a good way for her to know what's going on with me. And she likes to read my stuff anyway. I'd been considering letting her know about it for a while, but just never did.
Look at this thing I might be going to! A co-worker lives near there and says it's a blast. Mass quantities of firearms and alcohol. Sounds like something Southerners would do.

Date: 2003-06-24 02:21 pm (UTC)I have NO idea what movie that line was from. Hmm. I should ask my brother since he typically remembers nostalgia about the '60's, '70's and '80's that I fought for years to erase from my memory bank. My bro always looks at me crossed-eyed and questions which childhood I lived since we are only a year apart. I seemed to have actively lived in my imagination when I was wee, so most of my childhood is solely based on the adventures of Nee-Neeland. Oy! Lord love a duck, I’m strange.
ps. I will sometimes print a journal entry for my Mother to read. She will then make several copies of it and sent my stories via snail mail to my relatives. They never write back. I think my stories are like crosses and garlic; it keeps my blood sucking relatives away. :)
