wickedflea | can I go home?

Phuck. I spent yesterday trying to get a lot of stuff done early, which I did. Today, a whole host of shit that I've waiting for from other people has come in all at once, and none of it's simple to deal with. That's one thing I don't like about this job -- waiting on things from other people. Come to think of it, that's most of what this job is.

Sarah, the head of my department, keeps throwing little projects my way. That's good, because it shows that she thinks I'm competent, but it's kind of weird, because it's all this sales and marketing stuff. I'm in the marketing department, but my usual duties don't involve any numbers or market research or any of that -- just dealing with jacket copy. I dunno, though -- breaks up the monotony a little, I guess.

I hope it's nice out tomorrow. Today's dreary as hell -- lots o' fog. I need to clean out my car sometime this weekend, cuz it's trashed inside. I wonder what kind of winterization I need to do -- just antifreeze? We Southerners don't know nothin' about this kind of thing. Maybe I'll just put it up on blocks.
