When I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I've often just had a weird dream And as I go to the bathroom and then go back to bed, I always try to recap the dream for myself. But it never works. Even though I'm awake, my brain starts reshaping the events of the dream and it ends up becoming something else. Pretty trippy.

Yeah, I would, but I always want to get back to sleep, and if I start writing, I'm up for the day. I should use my little minicassette recorder and just blab into it--I bet that could be some wild shit! And then I could put it to music over trip-hop beats.

But I have no idea what trip-hop beats are. I saw the term in Spin. :(
