There's strikers all up in it. I was outside a few minutes ago and saw total chaos over by Battell Chapel. A crowd of people were sitting in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic, waving signs, beating on drums, and playing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" on trumpets. Weird scene. And me without my camera. I wanted to grab someone's megaphone and kick a little flavor for the G's, but I had to get back to work.

I remember the one and only strike we've had since I started working here. I opted to take it as a mini vacation and forego the drama of the picket line. Not much of a Sister, am I? Sounds like a funny scene up there.

Yep, it's pretty weird. I didn't think it was going to get this crazy this early. Well, early in some sense; negotiations have been going on for 19 months but this strike only started Wednesday. It's gonna be freaky!
