I have no grasp of the mind set of journal deletion. I mean, if I was sooo upset over something that happened with my LJ, I would just stop writing in it, I wouldn't delete it.

Then again, I'm pretty sure that 98% of the time, journal deleting is just a ploy for attention. So it does serve its purpose.

It wasn't, I swear, a ploy for attention; I was sure I wasn't ever going to return.
But then I did, and now I know better; if I want to leave, I'll just do it secret-like and not delete.

People have their reasons, and I don't really mean to question them. I just hate to see friends disappear, y'know? Two people I've actually met in the flesh deleted today, and I'm hoping they come back. But like I said, people have their reasons.

Its Lisa, I deleted my journal for a few days because my ex took my pc to fix it adn I had my LJ settings saved...dont want him reading...Im going to undelete when he gives it back to me...

well, I wasn't trying to get attention that's for sure, I had health issues that I didn't feel like rehashing to 99% of the people on my list who wouldn't give a fuck anyways. Besides, most people who HAVE journals do it for attention as well, so.....
