Oct. 15th, 2003 05:28 pmI have a sinking feeling that we're going to have a Yankees/Marlins World Series. That would be almost as bad as Yankees/Braves. I still can't believe that Cubs game last night. What a bunch of . . . well, Cubs. Typical.
Last night I was convinced that a $10 bill I had was counterfeit. It just didn't look or feel right somehow--it seemed a little oversized, and some of the ink was kinda running. But I had to pay for supper, so I went ahead and gave it to the pizza guy. I hope he didn't get fired over it; he was all excited about my being his first customer in his new job. Sucker.
Let's call the rest of the work week off, shall we?
