This morning I missed a chance at a really good found object photo of a wine glass discarded in the leaves with a couple of ounces of red still in it. Didn't have the camera with me--and what bugs me is that I thought about picking it up before I left the house, but I thought, "Nah, I won't see anything worth taking a picture of." At lunch I went home and got the camera, and of course when I got back the damned glass was gone.

Shit. And that was a pretty nice slug of wine I coulda had too.

How do you ever expect to shoot for the cover of National Geographic if you don't bring your camera?

I know, I'm never gonna be able to live my dream if I continue like this.

Hey, maybe I should concentrate on getting someone to take MY photo for the National Geographic. They could do a whole spread on me in my natural habitat. Like, I dunno, Waffle House or something... =)
