another tuesday

wickedfleaJust out of night class... I'm going to start a personal mission to eradicate Tuesdays... might as well knock out Monday while I'm at it. Maybe we could combine those two days with Sunday, which is never long enough anyway. Seriously, my schedule on Monday and Tuesday (esp. Tue.) is just no fun. That makes the rest of the week dead easy, though i'm not sure it's worth it.
Anyway, it actually wasn't that bad a day -- just long. I got up at 4 this morning to finish my paper on Miller Williams for my poetry class. I was pleased with how it came out and with how much I was getting into the poetry while I was preparing and writing. I'll probably end up doing my research paper on Williams.
I'm going to start getting my shit together this week to apply to the Columbia Publishing Course (fomrerly at Radcliffe). I would just be in heaven if I could crack the editing/publishing field -- it would be nice not to have to bust my ass teaching, especially since I can't see myself ever having the desire necessary to be a good teacher. I do love being involved with the creation of a publication, though...
I'm just sitting here zonked... it's not often I get nostalgic for the days when I smoked pot, but every once in a while, when I'm tired like this, I think, man, if I were to smoke some reefer right now, I would get so FUCKED... :)
