I'm not one to dismiss a creep factor, but really, that doesn't mean a whole lot. I could think of at least three uses for that room that have nothing to do with illicit behavior. Like, perhaps Michael locks himself in there when he's feeling particularly Peter Pan-like. Perhaps he recognizes a child's need to, I don't know. Back off into corners sometimes. So he built the room. You know? (Okay, and perhaps he built it so that when the kids are tired of being fondled, they can lock themselves in there as an, I don't know. "Safe word" of sorts.) Perhaps it's there because Michael believes that all children are abused in some way or another by all adults, so he's given them a little space so they can feel safe, or something. And access is through his bedroom, hidden, so they can 'hide' from their parents, from the world at large. You following me? It's difficult to get inside his head on this one, but I guess it doesn't strike me out of the gate as something that Means Something. I'm not sure why, because I suppose it should. But it doesn't.

I mean, unless allegations were made that he locks kids in there and comes in to diddle them, it's not necessarily a nail in the coffin. He's a weird guy. Weird guys do weird things.

I dunno.

That said, I don't know shit about the allegations, or anything. I'm just not necessarily ready to lynch him based on this.

I'm not sure what they're trying to say about the Culkin picture.

And the lyrics, eh.

That was a great song, though.
