I used to stop in VA, but I didn't always go the way you're going; sometimes I'd cut over and visit friends in GA and NC on the way up.

I never look through the CD's in my vehicle...no CD player in there yet...still have a cassette. But when I DO get around to getting a CD player for the truck, going to buy one that plays MP3's...

This is really strange. I don't hear a Southern accent!

Really? To this day I don't know how much of a Southern accent I have. I've never thought I had much of one, and a lot of people tell me I don't, but then some people hear me talk for two seconds and immediately ask me where I'm from. *shrug* I dunno. It's also possible that I was unconsciously supressing the accent when I made that post. :)
