Quick, someone tell me when my mom's birthday is. I have this mental block that prevents me from remembering if it's the 19th or the 21st. I know it's one off from 20, I just can't remember in which direction! Hmmm, seems like I actually jotted that down last year... now if I can just remember where...

Ah, if you had thought about it earlier, you could have sent a card and present to arrive on the 19th, stating that you won't be able to ring or anything, because of certain unforeseen consequences.
