shadesong before that. I guess I don't get around enough. One thing I found interesting was the number of people who nominated themselves. I might have thought about that if no one else had done it, but if every other yuk is doing it, it's not all that funny anymore. I dunno. The whole post kinda makes you a little embarassed to be here, no? Well, maybe not, but it certainly makes you think about some of the sillier aspects of this LJ thang.
I'm devoting entirely too much thought lately to the notion of jumping in the lake. That can't be good.
The heater's geeked up way too high and it's making me sleepy. Yeah, that's what's making me sleepy.
I need a jump-start and two smacks across the fuckin' mouth.

It's not all that different from my friends list poll thing. Give people the chance to cut people or things down for no apparent reason, and they'll jump all over it. Friday nights are typically dead on the 'net, but I posted Round 1 and the place CAME ALIVE.
I'd love to see this level of participation for something that was actually vaguely constructive.
