I just woke up about half an hour ago after sleeping for 16 hours straight, minus a few minutes here and there for calling in to work and making bathroom trips. I don't seem to have much of a fever, but I still feel pretty cruddy. Stomach bug, I guess.

This weekend I watched Stevie, a documentary by the guy who did Hoop Dreams about going back to visit the kid he'd been a Big Brother to ten years before. Fascinating but very sad.

Hrmmmm, that's about it for now. Oh, wait--I do have one picture to show you. I don't think I've ever showed y'all photos of when I was in a gang.



Scary stuff, huh? That's my bro Keith in the green shirt and me in the shades. I look like I'm lookin' for some shit, huh? That's George the Mouse in my right hand. He and I were inseparable until I freaking LOST him. That might have even been on that Gatlinburg trip.

Hey, that tree makes it look sort of like I have a green afro growing out of my blonde one, doesn't it? Or maybe I'm just hallucinating.

Really?? It's been yeaaaaaaaaars since I was there, so I don't remember anything about it. We used to go there and Pigeon Forge on Smokies trips when I was a kid. Pigeon Forge is totally different now, though. :(
