I've been here three and a half years and I STILL don't understand LJ time. I just posted a comment in someone's journal. I'm in CT. She's in CT. My clock said 8:36 p.m. So the time where the LJ servers are was what, 5:36? The comment says 12:36 a.m. I just don't get it.

Serious issues I worry about. Right right.

See, LJ lives in Seattle, or wherever the hoofwaddle they are... but the *servers* are actually housed in the sunken carcass of the Titanic, out in the Atlantic somewhere. That is why the time is four hours ahead.
