It sounded like it! Actually there was what sounded like an army of maintenance people running around in the crawlspace or whatever's above this ceiling--they were doing something with the lights, which are burning out like crazy these days...
They have a little storage room above my department here. I can hear the boards squeak when the maintenance folks are walking around. I'm hoping that stuff gets inspected on a regular basis. Oof.
