So I got on the plane and waited for them to get clearance to take off. And waited. And waited. And waited until they deplaned us so we could be more comfortable while they waited to be rerouted. It was at that point that I realized, man, there's no fucking way I'm going to make my connecting flight in Cincinnati. So I talked to the ladies at the counter, and they reassured me that no, there was no fucking way I was going to make my connecting flight in Cincinnati, and to make matters worse, there were no more flights to Birmingham tonight.

So I'm at home, dude. Right now I'm scheduled for a 6 a.m. flight out of here tomorrow and to finally arrive in B'ham at 9:30. But that's still an hour's drive from Tuscaloosa. So I guess the guy who was going to pick me up tonight could still pick me up then and we'd push the interview back--I dunno. He doesn't have his cell on, so I haven't been able to talk with him yet.

Oh Flea, I know it screws up your plans but believe me, as your flight attendant friend, its better to have you guys go back to the airport than sit there in the tin tube for 3 hours. Talk about nasty moods. Plus bebe the weather all around the US has majorly sucked for the last month.

Yeah, it actually would have been way worse if they hadn't taken us off the plane and I'd ended up going to Cincinnati and still not making my connection. Then I really woulda been assfucked.
