Look at this monstrosity Mom captured for me! She knows I have a real problem with the concept of fake plants, so she made sure to get a picture of this . . . thing . . . in her (otherwise quite nice) hotel room in L.A.

Hmm. It appears that silk banana plant has seen many drunken hotel room parties.

Do you know how much those danged things cost? They are not cheap. I guess that is why they have not disposed of this obviously ratty specimen.
