snow drama
Jan. 19th, 2002 03:57 pmLooks like we're getting our first real snow of the season. We got some the other night, but it was all melted by noon the next day. It's coming down pretty good now, though. Nothing to do but hole up, turn on some football, make some tea, and watch it snow. :)
There are two grocery stores within a couple of miles of my apartment, and they're as different as chalk and cheese. Shaw's is in sort of a sketchy part of town and is nasty, crowded, and generally ass-backwards. Stop and Shop is further out on the edge of town and is a pretty good store. So of course I went to Shaw's today. I walked around dodging people's carts for a couple of minutes, said fuck it and left. It's always crowded, but today was ridiculous. I end up walking out of there without buying anything about half the time.
