Holy shit -- the guy who directed The Lord of the Rings is the same dude who did Dead Alive and Meet the Feebles. I really hope unsuspecting people go back and check out his old stuff, 'cuz they're in for it if they do. ;)

Dead Alive rules! It's second only to Re-Animator as my favorite horror movie of all time. Not that I'm a connoisseur or anything. ;)

Dead Alive is my fave gross-out movie. you all should check out bad taste, his first film (i think). lowtech, sick and funny, with alien invaders and lots of goo.
