Heh. Yeah, the buildings are something else. They won't let me INTO half of them, of course, but they's shore purty from the outside. ;)
The trees are gorgeous now. But they're fucking depressing in the winter because they're all dead-looking. I'm used to the South, where we have evergreens, and I miss that. :\
I am used to everything being dead but that's because I live in Arizona and nothing survives except....cacti?
When I moved to Dallas for a little under a year I was like "WOW!! TREES! FOREST! ...GRASS!!!"
I used to live in Seattle for 9 years where all the trees were huge. We had a hurricane hit us once and all of them were falling over and taking out people's houses and stuff.
