Oct. 27th, 2004 11:59 pmThat kicked ass. I think just about everyone in Boston, and a lot of people throughout New England, just jizzed their shorts. The World Series was totally anticlimactic after that incredible ALCS, but after 86 years, I'm sure the Sox die-hards will take anticlimactic.
That postseason was fun to watch, and I'm glad I got to experience it here. :) I ain't even gonna front and act like I know how it feels for people who've been Sox fans their whole lives, but it's pretty sweet to see.

Date: 2004-10-27 11:08 pm (UTC)They wept.
My sister wept.
My brother wept.
In heaven, my other brother no doubt wept.
Then they all (save for Dead Brother) called each other and wept some more.
Me, I was makin' dinner and pickin' up my guy from work, who wuz sick. Then I made him eat his dinner. I did not return calls as I threw out my back.
And I been a Sox fan my whole life. I just expressed it with five minutes of openmouthed astonishment, 'zats all.
