GWAR is the shit. i got to see their halloween chicago show (natives, you know) year before last. i sat in the back to avoid the mess but it was so fucking awesome i didn't want to leave.
and the opening bands were hilariously bad death metal.
Heh -- yeah, I've seen 'em three times in New Orleans. The first time, some local group called the Nipples opened and got abused mercilessly by the crowd. Same thing happened the next time, when Flipper opened. Same thing happened the third time, when GWAR THEMSELVES (as The X-Cops) opened! (Nobody knew who it was.)
In Worcester, some group called Goatwhore is opening! I think I'll conveniently skip them. :)
