We're getting a blizzard this weekend, yet tonight I saw the longest line at the car wash I've ever seen. What's that about?

the shelves at wal-mart were barren. i can't get over how people flock to the stores -- like we're going to be snowed in for more than a day. i mean, there are people here who live 30, 45 minutes from town (and are still considered part of this same town) but even they'd be plowed out within a day or two.
