I've never really understood MySpace. Like, what do people actually do there? I've had an account there pretty much since it opened, but I've never done anything with it. And why does this guy all of a sudden want to add me as a friend? And what's that ICON of? And who stole the soul?!? Answer me, damn you.

Did you understand Friendster? If so, subtract about 30 points from the average IQ of the membership, multiply the number of members who are past/present strippers by about 1000, and throw the bastard child of mp3.com into the functionality.

Well, they're all sort of like this place, only until recently, most of them were without the burden of making people think they needed to come up with whatever passed for content. ;) Think "meat market meets message board". It was recently explained to me as the most overrated online dating site available. My drummer likes to troll it looking for porn stars to befriend...dunno if he's had any luck. He created a band page for us on it, which I doubt will have any effect whatsoever.

The purpose of that and Friendster both elude me. After I created a Friendster account, I was horribly disappointed to find that you couldn't really...you know...DO anything once you were there.

Yeah, that's how it seems to me. There's a blog thingy, but most people don't seem to use it. Then there are the comments or whatever, but they seem to be mostly stuff like "OMG your hot let's hookup." Maybe I'm missing something.
